Throughout the course of Gods Will Fall, the player will be forced to confront all manner of terrible minions and strong beasts in combat. The player will have to learn how to use their weapons well, understand how to block and parry, as well as explore their environment well if they want to survive against these enemies. Things get more difficult though when the Gods enter the equation.

Without a doubt, the most difficult enemies to defeat during Gods Will Fall are the Gods themselves. These enemies are faster and stronger than any other being in the game, and the player will have a lot of trouble defeating them. One of these difficult fights is against Osseus, The God of Bone and Sinew. This guide shows players how to defeat Osseus in combat.

Gods Will Fall – How To Defeat Osseus

Osseus the God of Bone and Sinew is one of the more disturbing creatures in the game. This giant spider monster is capable of dishing out huge amounts of damage against the player in several different ways, so players who want to defeat him will need to stay on their toes. Here are the few attacks that Osseus is capable of.

Leg Attack – Osseus can use his legs to attack the player in a couple of different ways. For one he will strike out at the player from a distance, so they will have to dodge these attacks. Once close up though Osseus is also able to swipe at the player back and forth in order to deal damage.
Ground Attack – After dealing damage to the boss, Osseus will eventually drop off the side of the cliff where the player can’t see him. He will then break through a section of the ground in order to deal damage to the player. This must be dodged as well.
Bone Breaker – As the God of bones, Osseus has been granted the very gross ability to manipulate the bones of any creature he interacts with. With this attack, the player will see Osseus shaking on the side of the arena. When this happens it means that the God is about to crack the bones within the player’s body to deal damage. There is no way to avoid this so just get close and hack away at the boss.

The trick to this fight is for players to stay out of the way of Osseus’ first two attacks. The Ground Attack in particular is capable of dealing a lot of damage, so its best to dodge any of these that come the player’s way. There is the potential that the player might be able to parry the Leg Attack, but this can be very difficult so its best to dodge her as well. Once Osseus starts shaking though the player can dash towards him and begin hitting him as hard as they can. Depending on the randomized difficulty, this can potentially be enough time to knock off half of the boss’s health. Just keep an eye out and stick to this pattern in order to bring this boss down in no time.
